About Us
The Willamette Valley Down Syndrome Association (WVDSA) welcomes you and invites you to participate in our care for people touched by Down syndrome.
Who We Are
We are loving and caring parents of children with Down syndrome who want to ensure that our children have everything they need to reach their full potential. Personal experience demonstrates the need to create our own opportunities for children and families impacted by Down syndrome. In response to this need we founded the Willamette Valley Down Syndrome Association (WVDSA) in September 1998.
The WVDSA is affiliated with the National Down Syndrome Society whose mission is to provide nationwide education, research and advocacy for Down syndrome. This association is intended to serve the communities of Oregon's mid-Willamette Valley including:
- Albany
- Corvallis
- Eugene
- Lebanon
- Newport
- Salem
- Springfield
- Sweet Home
- And everyone in-between.
We appreciate you and your family's care and consideration!
